(I forgot to mention that the Year of Projects starts in July, not January!)
Okay, actually, I gifted her the little bunny with no face and then took it back home to finish. I hope he is snuggled lots and by the time baby J pulls out bunny's face, I will be better at embroidery!
I started knitting the heel flap on my first pair of socks! So far I am in love with knitting socks and hope these go quickly! The pattern is the Vanilla Sock by the Knitmore Girls.
(I missed the prime time to take pictures and I almost always use my phone to post; the colors of this sock are pink/camouflage)
I also am working on a shawl for a very dear friend of mine but I can't share pictures. I have 1/4 skeins complete.

The bunny lovey came out terrific! You did a solid job on its face. I love your sock yarn! You are doing beautifully on your first sock. Yippee!
ReplyDeleteWow, I just wish my first sock will look as good as yours! I don't think it will :) Good job :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute little bunny! I think its face is really good, I wouldn't worry about it. And the socks are great!
ReplyDeleteThe bunny is fantastic and knowing how my Evelyn has taken and loved it so much, (have had to knit her a second) it will be cuddled loads, it is just the right size for small hands and you did a great job on his face ! :) Love those socks and they are flying off your needles, you'll be addicted now !
ReplyDeleteYour embroidery skills are better than mine! I think there's a real art to that and I don't have the feel for it. Love the sock. Knitting socks is addictive; once you do the heel turn and pick up the gusset stitches we'll have a confirmed sock knitter, I think!
ReplyDeleteI think the face is fine - much better than any of my attempts!! I love the colour of those socks and they are coming on nicely :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute bunny :) Also love the colors in your socks and they are looking great!!
ReplyDeleteYour socks look great. I really miss you all. I hope you are doing well.
